Warm up your to-read list this winter with Adult Winter Reading at SCPL!

Adult Winter Reading runs from December 1st to January 31st and Winter Reading cards are available at every library location, including the Bookmobile. The card lists 10 different choices; complete six of those and return your card to be rewarded with a sweet umbrella (while supplies last) for your efforts, to help you stay dry in the wet Upstate winter.

Voices and Votes: Democracy in America

Cowpens Library is hosting Voices and Votes: Democracy in America, a traveling multimedia exhibit that asks who has the right to vote, what our responsibilities are as citizens, and how our voices are heard. Following the history of voting in America, Voices and Votes asks its visitors to consider how we can continue to form a more perfect union.

Voices and Votes: Democracy in America is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and SC Humanities.
