Photobook: Spartanburg 2008 begins June 15th! Fifty one-time use 35mm cameras are
available at the Headquarters Library
while supplies last. Photobook is open to teens ages 12-18 or in
grades 7-12 and runs June 15th-July 31st.
To participate, visit the Audio Visual desk and pick up a camera and instructions. Teens are
to photograph Spartanburg as they see it and turn in their camera to any Spartanburg County Public Library by July 31st.
Film from the cameras will be developed and one photo from each camera will be selected
to display at the Headquarters Library in the AT&T Exhibition Gallery in September. The
photographers will be given a set of prints from the film in their camera. All photos taken
become the property of the Spartanburg County Public Libraries.
Five photos will be selected as the best and the photographers will receive a $25 Visa gift card!
