Homebound: select, recommend and transport materials to individuals with special medical conditions.
Tour Guides: Lead tour groups at the Headquarters Library.

Adopt-A-Shelf: Straighten and maintain shelves at any of our library locations.
Special Events: Assist with events at various times of the year like Jamboread! and seasonal booksales.
Library Associates: Help with a wide array of tasks throughout the Library system.
Junior Volunteers: Assist libraries during summer break, open to 5th graders thru high school seniors.

Volunteer Application
Each year a volunteer is chosen to receive the Helen Fayssoux Kennedy Volunteer Award, named in honor of Mrs. Kennedy whose gift
started the Spartanburg County Public Libraries in 1885.
The recipient of the 2007 Volunteer of the Year Award is Mr. Jack Hankins.
