Spartanburg County Public Libraries is a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center.

As a member of this nationwide network of libraries, community foundations, and other nonprofit resource centers, Spartanburg County Public Libraries provides visitors with free public access to a core collection of grantmaker directories, books on fundraising and nonprofit management. The core collection of reference books for grant seekers is located in the Reference Area on the upper level of the Headquarters Library.

Foundation Directory Online, an online database for grant opportunities nationwide, is available from library computers in the Headquarters Library. It includes detailed profiles of all active U.S. foundations, as well as an extensive file of recent grants awarded by the nations top funding organizations.
