books and is currently working on his third novel. Paramount recently purchased
film rights to John’s first novel, Looking for Alaska. |

| A prolific author for children, teens and adults,
Kathryn has written over 50 books in various genres, including
historical fiction, fictional novels, picture books, photo essays, and
even biographies. Kathryn’s writing has earned her numerous awards,
including the Newbery Honor award for Sugaring Time. |

E. B. Lewis is the highly acclaimed illustrator of more than thirty
picture books, including two Coretta Scott King Honor books, The Bat
Boy and His Violin and Virgie Goes to School with Us Boys. |

| The recipient of the 2006 Margaret A. Edwards
Award honoring her outstanding lifetime contribution to writing for
teens, Jacqueline has also earned numerous awards for her children’s
literature, including a Newbery Honor, Caldecott Honor and a Coretta
Scott King Medal and Honor. |
