Requests for Bids & Proposals

Spartanburg County Public Libraries (SCPL) is seeking proposals from marketing firms for a redesign of the Libraries’ logo and a comprehensive evaluation of our identity and brand.

Proposals will be received in the Administrative Offices at the Headquarters Library address listed below, until 11:00 am EDT, August 24, 2010. The Library is not responsible for proposals left at public service desks. Proposals may not be faxed. Hours for the Administrative Offices on the upper level are Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00.

The Libraries are seeking an integrated library management system. In the modern public library, quality customer service and smooth daily operation relies upon maintaining an up to date integrated library management system. Spartanburg County Public Libraries has outgrown its current library automation system, and is looking for a replacement. While replacing such a crucial component is a major undertaking, change is necessary to meet new and expanded service objectives.
