Drop-Off Recycling Centers: Fernwood-Glendale Road and Alba Court
HOURS: Drop-off anytime
REQUIREMENTS: ALUMINUM CANS-Drink cans only, no aluminum foil or pans; GLASS-Clear, brown, or green bottles, jars, remove tops and rinse out, labels do not have to be removed; MIXED PAPER, including magazines, paperboard (such as cereal boxes, drink cartons, etc.); Corrugated cardboard, please flatten; plastic bottles or jars. You can now commingle the following items: glass, aluminum cans, and steel food cans.
Located at Fast Phil’s Amoco on Fernwood-Glendale Road and Alba Court (next to County Administration Building). 
Attended Recycling Centers
HOURS: Monday-Saturday, 7 am-7 pm
These centers take antifreeze and used motor oil, lead-acid batteries, glass (clear, brown, or green bottles and jars; remove tops and rinse out; labels do not have to be removed), aluminum cans (no aluminum foil or pans), steel food cans, corrugated cardboard, #1 and #2 plastic (remove lids), and mixed paper (including advertising inserts, magazines, mail, catalogs, cereal boxes, etc.; no carbon, waxed, or plastic paper), paint (bring old paint for others to use), used motor oil and oil filters (5 gallons of oil per visit);  You can now commingle: aluminum and steel food cans with plastic and glass jars or bottles.  4 centers also collect white goods (appliances): Cowpens Recycling Center, Enoree Recycling Center, Stone Station Recycling Center, and Wofford Road Recycling Center. Interested groups can call for a Landfill Tour.

Berry’s Pond Recycling Center (#4)

Take I-85 towards Greenville to Exit #63 (Hwy. 290.) Turn left and cross over I-85. Take 2nd right (Tucapau Road). Center is 8/10 mile on the left. 
Campobello Recycling Center (#10)
From Spartanburg take Highway 176 toward Campobello. Turn left onto Lanford Road. Travel about one mile. Center is on left.

Cooley Springs Recycling Center (#12)
Take Hwy. 9 toward Boiling Springs. Bear right onto Parris Bridge Road Turn left onto Martin Camp Road Go 1.3 miles, then left onto Mason Road Go .5 miles; take right on Ledford Road Recycling center is at bottom of hill, on right.

Cowpens Recycling Center (#3)
From Spartanburg take Hwy. 29 towards Cowpens. Pass the old Converse Mill on the left. At top of hill and at light, turn right onto Ellis Road Recycling Center straight ahead.

Dexter Road Recycling Center (#5)
Turn off Asheville Highway at Jones Tractor onto Dexter Road Recycling center on left. 
Enoree Recycling Center (#15)

From Spartanburg take I-26 towards Columbia to Exit 41. Turn left onto Hwy. 92. Go approximately 2 miles. Center is on right.

Highway 357 Recycling Center (#9)
From Spartanburg take I-85 toward Greenville. Exit at Hwy. 129. Turn right at Lindsay Plaza intersection onto Hwy. 358. Travel several miles. Turn left onto Hwy. 357 (Greer Road). Travel approximately 1 mile and bear right at small bridge.  
Hobbysville Recycling Center (#14)
Take Hwy. 221 through Woodruff. Turn left at Brown’s Grocery onto Kilgore Bridge Road Center is approximately one mile on right.

Mayo Recycling Center (#7)
From Spartanburg take Hwy. 221 toward Lake Blalock. Turn left  onto Foster’s Grove Rd and then turn right onto Sandy Ford Road Travel about one mile. Center is on the right.

New Prospect Recycling Center (#6)
From Spartanburg take Hwy. 9 toward Lake Bowen. Turn left onto Edwards Road. Center is on the left.

Pauline Recycling Center (#13)
Take Hwy. 56 toward Pauline.  Center is on Hwy. 56, about two miles past Pauline.

Roebuck Recycling Center (#1)
Go Hwy. 221 toward Moore and bear right on Old Georgia Road Turn left past Siemen’s onto Quartermile Road Center is on the left. ALTERNATE ROUTE:  Take Blackstock Road toward Roebuck. Turn left onto Old Georgia Road Bear right at fork and then turn at first right onto Quartermile Road Center is on the left.

Stone Station Recycling Center (#17)
Travel south on Hwy. 215 and turn left onto Zimmerman Lake Road  Turn left onto Gowens Road and Center is on the left.

From Spartanburg take Hwy. 9 toward Boiling Springs. Turn left onto Fourth
Street Recycling center on right.

From Spartanburg take Hwy. 176 toward Inman. Turn left onto Hwy. 292 at the McDonald’s. Cross Lake Cooley and take the next right onto Little Mountain Road Landfill on left.

From Spartanburg take Hwy. 176 toward Pacolet. Pass Littlejohn Lumber on left and take second right onto Brown Road Center is on the left.

Wofford Road Recycling Center (#11)
Take Hwy. 221 toward Woodruff. At fork of Highways 221 and 101 make a right onto Hwy. 101. Go over bridge and take the 4th street to the right (Wofford Road).  ALTERNATE ROUTE: Take Hwy. 101 toward Woodruff. Turn onto first road to the left past Shiloh Church (Wofford Road).

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Separate areas for: tires, yard waste, white goods (appliances) and construction and demolition debris.
APPLICATION PROCEDURES: Take appropriate recyclables to a center near you
Tires, yard waste, white goods (appliances) and construction debris, as well as household trash. DIRECTIONS-From Spartanburg go Highway 176 to Inman. At the red light at the Inman Hardee's turn left onto Highway 292. Cross Lake Cooley and turn right at Hot Dog Cafe onto Little Mountain Road. Landfill on left.
