It is the intent of the South Carolina Quality Forum to provide all South

The ACOG provides technical support and consulting services to citizens,
businesses, and local governments in the six counties and their forty-two
municipalities in the SC Upstate. The Board of Directors and Advisory Committee
meetings serve as forums for the advancement of regional goals through
cooperation and broad-based priority setting on projects and issues important to
the six-county area. ACOG provides demographic and economic information on the
region in response to public and private inquiries. It provides local government
supervisory training and government management studies. ACOG helps counties
obtain funding to rehabilitate substandard housing for low and moderate income

The
Spartanburg Youth Council is a coalition of over
315 members, including state and local schools, colleges, universities,
non-profits, businesses, youth-serving organizations, law enforcement, the faith
community, government, individuals, parents and young people. Our
mission is to facilitate collaboration among youth-serving organizations, to
promote opportunities for youth leadership and development, and to raise
awareness about youth issues. The SYC also includes 2 youth groups. Youth
Voices is a group of junior high and high school students whose primary work is
the Youth in Philanthropy Project. They raise funds, release an RFP, distribute
the funds, and review the grants. The Mayor’s Service Board is a youth-led
initiative of high school-age students dedicated to researching community needs,
and creating service projects to meet those needs.
