The Best Chance Network is an organization dedicated to screening low-income
women without healthcare. The BCN provides a mammogram, pelvic exam, and a pap
smear for women who meet the age and income requirements and have no other
access to health care. The network does require proof of income. Screenings are
held once a month, alternating between Spartanburg Regional's Outpatient Center
and their mobile unit.

etc. Teen MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers); limited ultrasounds.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES: No appointment is necessary to be assessed. Come

For individuals and their families needing special help in stopping the use or
abuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, SADAC offers an Intensive Outpatient
Program (IOP). This program allows a person to live at home and continue with
work or school and at the same time receive treatment services similar to those
offered in an in-patient setting.

Any person, couple, or family can receive help at SADAC to deal with alcohol or
drug abuse problems. The outpatient program offers services that are
individualized for each person and/or for each family member seeking help.
Someone who lives with or is close to an addicted person can get help even if
the addicted person refuses to be in treatment. No appointment is necessary to
be assessed.

The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is an 89-bed facility owned, managed
and operated by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. The facility,
located in upstate South Carolina, specializes in psychiatric and chemical
dependency treatment for adolescents, adults and senior adults. To meet the
diverse needs of the community, an array of inpatient and outpatient programs
are offered in addition to a 24-hour needs assessment and referral service.

drugs, including concise, easy-to-understand fact sheets covering a variety of
specific topics.
