Provides low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter services for residents of
Spartanburg and surrounding counties at their clinic located at 1097 Asheville
Highway, Spartanburg, SC. Vaccinations and other services are available at the
time of surgery. Trap rental program for trapping of feral cats for spay/neuter
surgery. Limited financial assistance may be available for qualified low-income
individuals. Call 576-6971 for surgery appointments. Also presents humane
education programs for businesses, schools and civic organizations.

A non-profit organization whose goal is to rescue abandoned, abused, and
neglected animals within our community and find permanent, loving homes. No
animal within our care will ever be euthanized. Provides education on the
importance of proper animal care and an effective spay/neuter program. Always in

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Services are open to all members of the public. There
is an application process for adoption.
FEES: Puppies & Dogs: $85, Kittens & Cats:$74. Includes spay/neuter, age
appropriate vaccines, a microchip (permanent identification), animal ID tag, 30
days of free pet health insurance, and a pet training DVD. Low-Cost
Spay/Neuter: Male cat $25, Male dog $5

The Palmetto Conservation Foundation is a statewide, non-profit organization
that promotes conservation in a non-adversarial manner. The mission of the
Palmetto Conservation Foundation is to conserve South Carolina's natural and
cultural resources, preserve historic buildings and landmarks, and promote
outdoor recreation by building rails and greenways. Some of our key projects
include South Carolina's Mountains to the Sea Trail, the Palmetto Trail; the
Revolutionary War Military Heritage Project and PCF Press, a publications
division that promotes advocacy, access and appreciation for South Carolina's
natural and historical wonders through outdoor guidebooks, how-to manuals,
histories, and conservation books for adults and children.

Provides information about the ordinance removal activities at the former Camp
Croft Army Training Facility. A Restoration Advisory Board has also been formed
to keep the public informed and provide for public involvement in the cleanup.
Meetings are held quarterly at the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the
Blind. All documentation compiled and generated for this activity is available
for review at the Spartanburg County Public Library Headquarters, 151 South
