HubCulture Inc., a non-profit organization in Spartanburg, S.C., builds
community through dynamic arts and ideas. It operates two programs: the Hub
Culture, which celebrates place and community through the
creation and presentation of literary and cultural works; and HUB-BUB.COM,
which seeks to engage young adults through progressive and alternative arts,
music, film, theatre and other programming.

The Shepherd's Center has a creative writing class open to anyone. The only requirement is a real desire to join a group interested in writing stories. The group currently has 15 writers, 9 of which are published. Also works with school children and their writing.  Writers of all ages are welcomed.

A nonprofit, literary center offering classes in fiction, poetry, non-fiction, etc. Sponsors the Distinguished Author Series and several contests. Promotes literacy and the Asheville Writers and Poets Group. Provides year-round classes for children, teens, and adults, retreats, readings, symposiums, etc. Has 1,000 members.
