Join us for a summer of fun!

Everyone from babies through rising 6th graders is invited to participate.

Beginning the last day of school through July 31, 2018 read books on your reading level to earn rocking prizes.

You get to choose how many books or hours to read.

  • Read 10 books or for 10 hours and receive a free book to keep

  • Read an additional 5 books or 5 hours (for a total of 15 books or 15 hours) and choose a prize.

  • Read an additional 5 books or 5 hours (for a total of 20 books or 20 hours) and receive a second prize.

If you complete the program, you will have 1 book and 2 prizes by the end of the summer!

Receive a $10 Fine Forgiveness Voucher just for signing up!

Here are the ways to get started:

  • Option 1: Beginning the last day of school, stop by any Spartanburg County Public Libraries location to sign up and receive your reading record.

  • Option 2: Sign up in your school media center.

  • Option 3: Sign up online and print your reading record OR Sign up and track your reading online.

Reading records must be turned in to any SCPL location by Tuesday, July 31.

All Library locations will have really cool events and activities for kids in kindergarten through 6th grade.

We’ll also have special activities just for Tweens – rising 5th and 6th graders only.
