Photobook: Spartanburg 2019

Friday, June 14th – Friday, July 12th

Photobook is both a photo contest and a local history project, and it’s always a lot of fun! Each summer, one-time use cameras are checked out to 50 teens with the challenge to explore Spartanburg County and take the best photos possible. Starting Friday, June 14th, cameras are available on a first-come, first-served basis and can be claimed in the Teen Hub at the Headquarters Library or by requesting one online. They go very quickly (normally within a day), so if you want to participate, don’t delay! Cameras are checked out to teens’ library cards and are due by July 12th.

On Friday, August 16th, the Photobook: Spartanburg 2019 Opening Reception will be held at the Headquarters Library. One photo from each camera will be on display. Following the reception, the exhibit will be up throughout August. Categories and prizes are as follows:
